Christina Holmes ( b. Eaton Rapids, Michigan )
Christina Holmes views photography as a fundamental act of power: capturing a subject in a second and holding its truth for a lifetime. Raised on a Michigan farm, educated in Pittsburgh before fully engaging with New York City, which proved a decisive, disruptive force. After years spent as an assistant—laboring for established figures in editorial and high-end fashion—she transitioned to directing her own visual stories. Today, she spearheads global campaigns, crafting narratives rich in genuine feeling and deep personal connection. Her approach is rigorous reportage, grounded in authentic human experience. Her work is continuously informed by her background, specifically referencing the core rituals of food and the dynamic spectacle of culture and fashion.
